Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) in Medford, MA. You will learn grooming through Paragon School of Pet Grooming, groom dogs, and support the store team with duties as you gain experience.

You will train online, use grooming tools, and help neighbors with pet needs while maintaining a safe, friendly grooming area. Opportunities include paid training and competitive entry-level pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Flexible with evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Pass a drug screening and distance tests when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services including brushing, bathing, and nail trimming.
• Learn and demonstrate skills to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Ensure wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Build relationships with neighbors by recommending products and services.
• Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming area inviting.
• Complete Safety Training certification and assist during downtime.
