Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking candidates for the Paragon training program to prepare for grooming and bathing careers. Trainees progress through Level 1 (5–8 weeks) and Level 2 (10 weeks) with hands-on practice, book work, online exams, and photo submissions for grading.

On completion of Level 1 and Level 2, participants earn a complete grooming tools set and have access to store tools for use during training. The role requires flexibility in shifts and a strong commitment to animal care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion for animals.
• Tools will be provided while enrolled in Paragon.

Responsibilities

• Follow and demonstrate Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Complete Level 1 training (5 weeks) and Level 2 training (10 weeks) as part of Paragon program.
• Assist in generating business by calling customers and scheduling appointments.
• Ensure safety and well-being of animals.
• Maintain records of pet clients and vaccinations.
