Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments across store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide direction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members; drive customer service and sales.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career development, identify development needs, and support promotions.
• Manage P&L, sales targets and shrink; maintain store standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings.
• Ensure safety and a positive work environment; enforce training compliance.
• Communicate with customers and team members to ensure efficient service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
