Job summary

Meijer is seeking an experienced store operations leader to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day activities across departments. You will mentor staff, drive customer service excellence and coach teams toward sales goals while maintaining store standards and appearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in different store areas helpful.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members; implement strategies to improve customer service and sales.
• Oversee staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Manage P&L, drive sales and maintain shrink within the department.
• Ensure safety and provide reliable, consistent attendance.
• Train staff in all job areas and ensure required training is completed.
