Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help customers make healthy choices and lead one of the store’s busiest teams. You will support the Grocery Manager in planning, merchandising, and supervising staff to ensure high-quality products and excellent service.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, in-store position with opportunities for growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Familiarity with natural foods and alternative diets preferred.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customer focus.
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
