Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help customers make healthy food choices while leading one of the store’s busiest teams.

You will support department merchandising, inventory controls, and staffing to drive productivity and profit. You will play a key role in hiring, training, and developing the Grocery Team, ensuring safety and sanitation guidelines are followed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customer interaction.
• Proven leadership ability to build and motivate staff.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organization and planning skills; ability to multitask.
• Must be able to lift heavy trays/boxes as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team that delivers high quality products and top service to customers.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries; ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
