Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Arvada, CO is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help lead one of our busiest teams and support customers in making healthy choices. You’ll drive sales, margins, and inventory goals while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced store.

You will assist the Grocery Manager with department merchandising, stock control, training, scheduling, and safety compliance to ensure top quality products and a great customer experience daily.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years retail management experience with knowledge of natural foods is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop a Grocery Team and manage schedules and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products, service, and customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort deliveries and ensure safety and sanitation policies are followed.
