Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to lead one of the store's busiest teams and help customers make healthy choices.

You will assist the Grocery Manager with merchandising, inventory control, and staff supervision to maximize productivity and profit. The role requires 18+ with 1–3 years of retail management, a flexible schedule, strong communication, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; walking up to 3 miles per 8 hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Outgoing and friendly attitude with customer interaction.
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and monitor reports and goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and planning; able to multitask.
• Must lift milk trays up to 60 lbs for up to 25 hours.
• Must lift boxes up to 50 lbs for up to 5 feet, for up to 25 hours without aid.
• Repetitive squatting/kneeling/bending to access low areas for up to 30 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goals, communication and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team that brainstorms to deliver top quality products and service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries.
• Ensure execution of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and train others.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a winning team.
