Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a capable leader to manage fresh perimeter departments including bakery, deli, produce, and market. You will ensure product quality, food safety, and inventory levels while guiding merchandising execution and customer service.

The role requires coordinating hiring, training, and performance management to support store profitability. As a valued partner, you will uphold company standards, drive sales, and promote a safe, efficient shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Associates Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education.
• Must obtain HIPAA certification through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Must obtain Tobacco/Alcohol certification (TABC/LACT/AATC/ABLE) through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role where applicable.
• Must obtain Manager Food Safety certification through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining partners; scheduling, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness and store presentation; enforces quality control and food safety standards across departments.
• Reviews planograms and merchandising plans to increase sales and ensure price/signage accuracy; manages stock levels and inventory accuracy.
• Plans short-term objectives aligned with banner strategies and supports store operations to maximize cash flow and profitability.
