Brookshire Grocery Company seeks a Department Manager to lead the grocery department, drive sales and uphold product quality and safety standards. You will oversee staff, training, scheduling, and performance management while ensuring in-stock levels and accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience.
• Minimum of 18 years of age; 21+ to drive for Company business.
• Food Handler certification required; Manager Food Safety certification required.
• AML certification required; Fuel Operator C training required.
• HIPAA certification required; TABC/LACT/AATC certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; planning, assigning and directing work.
• Review historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions.
• Manage inventory to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels.
• Review financials and provide summaries to upper management.
• Maintain sales performance, product quality and safety standards.
• Ensure product within date and rotate properly.
