Pick 'n Save in West Allis, Wisconsin is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist the department manager in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a safe, clean environment. You will help customers, answer questions about products, and ensure freshness and quality across department merchandise.

Qualifications

Must be 18 or older.
Ability to handle stressful situations.
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
Retail experience preferred.
Second language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote trust and respect among associates, with a positive attitude.
Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
Gain knowledge of products sold and respond to questions with recommendations.
Offer product samples to help customers discover new items they inquire about.
Inform customers of grocery specials and provide fresh products ordered.
Recommend grocery items to ensure customers get what they want.
Check product quality and review sell-by dates; take action as needed.
Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
Stay current with ads and promotions and adhere to safety guidelines.
Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain temperature logs.
Reinforce safety programs and notify store management of unsafe conditions.
Inspect equipment and report items needing repair to management.
Notify management of accidents and report safety risks or illegal activity.
