Job summary

Pick 'n Save is seeking an enthusiastic team member to assist customers and support department goals. You will help maintain a clean, safe store environment and respond to customer inquiries about products across the department and store.

Ideal candidates have basic math skills, strong communication abilities, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced retail setting. Retail experience and second language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Retail experience (Desired).
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing) (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience by providing helpful, friendly service.
• Assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals for the department.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and uphold quality assurance standards.
• Answer customer questions about products and store departments.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Monitor and report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads, promotions, and store policies.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and temperature guidelines.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
