Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead multiple departments (Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, Beer/Wine) and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise store operations, coach team members, and collaborate with the Store Manager to hire, promote, and schedule staff while ensuring compliance with food safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with 1 year managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to take and give direction.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and positive customer interaction.
• Proven leadership to build and maintain staff and understand reports and financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with regulations.
• Ability to manage schedules and flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine departments.
• Ensure product handling, rotation, freshness and date controls.
• Monitor costs and labor to improve profitability and reduce loss.
• Assist with store inventory and receiving invoices.
• Schedule staff and manage staffing levels for productivity.
• Conduct coaching and performance reviews with team members.
• Lead store meetings and support promotions.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff with Store Manager collaboration.
• Act as Key Carrier or MOD as needed.
