You will optimize operations, coach the team, manage scheduling, and collaborate with Store Manager to drive profitability while maintaining food safety and customer satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with 1 year managerial or supervisory experience within retail or service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and positive approach with customers.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with federal/state regulations.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and handle heavy trays.
• Working knowledge of performance metrics like payroll, margins, and sales.
• Ability to transfer milk trays 60 lbs and boxes up to 50 lbs as described.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are rotated for freshness and date controls.
• Control costs and monitor labor to reduce shrink and loss.
• Prepare store for physical inventory counts.
• Oversee unloading and verify deliveries against invoices.
• Manage ordering, sanitation, back-room inventory, and department safety.
• Coach and develop team members and conduct performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and recruit/hire with the Store Manager.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
• Create schedules to maximize productivity.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team.
• Lead team to deliver top quality products and service.
