Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead several departments and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment in Colorado Springs. You will oversee operations, scheduling, staffing, inventory, and compliance while driving profitability and maintaining Food Safety standards.

The role requires at least 18 years old with one year of managerial experience and strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and possess 1 year managerial or supervisory experience within a multi-department operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work in a team.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers and staff.
• Demonstrated leadership to motivate and maintain staff; understand margin reports and financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills; strong organizational ability.
• Maintain Food Safety certification and comply with regulations for product freshness, safety, and sanitation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of multiple departments (Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, Beer/Wine).
• Ensure proper product handling, freshness, dating controls, and shrink reduction.
• Control costs; monitor labor and improve profitability; manage schedules.
• Assist with store readiness for physical inventories and coordinate deliveries.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Provide coaching and conduct performance reviews; address team concerns.
