Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager in Colorado Springs to lead one of our busiest teams and help customers make healthy food choices. You’ll support the Produce Manager, manage inventory, ensure freshness, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced store.

This role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a community-focused grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor; positive attitude with customers.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation; follow safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; obtain Food Handlers permit.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, climb; lift up to 50 lbs.; operate pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards from receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, displaying, and rotation of items.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality product and service to customers.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Produce team.
• Unload deliveries; operate and maintain produce equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation guidelines.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
