Job summary

Harris Teeter in Wesley Chapel, NC is seeking a capable supervisor to manage the Grocery Department, and possibly the HBC/GM Department. You will direct, coordinate, and evaluate staff and ensure adherence to company policies and laws while interviewing and training associates as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (or 2–3 years related experience), strong interpersonal skills, and basic computer and math abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 2–3 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination.

• Associates must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise up to 25 associates in the Grocery Department.
• May also be assigned responsibility for the HBC/GM Department.
• Direct, coordinate, and evaluate department activities in accordance with Harris Teeter policies and applicable laws.
• Interview and train associates; plan, assign, and direct work; assist in performance appraisal; reward and discipline as needed.
