Price Rite of SEEKONK is seeking an Assistant Night Crew Chief to monitor pricing, stocking and rotation in the grocery area. You will help maintain an attractive image, handle backroom stock and assist with display-building.

The role involves standing for shifts, lifting up to 60 lbs, operating the Telxon and light power equipment, and cash handling with strict adherence to store policies and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Basic math skills needed for prices and stockkeeping.
• Ability to follow directions as given.
• Ability to stand for long periods; frequent lifting up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pricing, stocking, facing and rotation; keep store image attractive.
• Rotate products; ensure clearly priced and signed items.
• Maintain proper shelf allocations for maximum sales and profit.
• Operate the bailer and power equipment as required.
• Unload trucks and handle backroom stock; organize and clean areas.
• Utilize register for cash handling; follow security procedures.
• Notify supervisor of shortages and maintain cleanliness per schedule.
• Complete training to obtain or maintain food safety certification.
