Job summary

Price Rite is seeking a Closing Supervisor to oversee store operations and staff during shifts, ensuring high-quality customer service and polished store presentation. The role includes cash handling, deposits, inventory, and CGO duties, with emphasis on safety, accuracy and compliance with policies.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of management experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and a Food Safety Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of related management experience; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers or team members.
• Ability to calculate figures such as percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
• Active Food Safety Certification required.
• Regular standing, walking, lifting and manual tasks required.
• Visual acuity for close/distant/color/depth vision and focus.
• Work environment may include outside weather and temperature changes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 20 team members per shift in store operations.
• Maintain store conditions per standards and safety guidelines.
• Monitor shrink and inventory objectives.
• Deliver great customer service and uphold integrity and confidentiality.
• Manage signage, CGO functions, and sign audits; handle deposits.
• Open/close cash office and reconcile daily transactions.
• Assist with training, communication with store manager, and incident handling.
• Work nights/weekends; full-time approx. 40 hours per week with overtime.
