Job summary

Price Rite in Reading, PA is seeking a Closing Supervisor to oversee store operations on shift and deliver high quality customer service. This role handles cash, opens/closes the store, and ensures shelves and signing are accurate and presentable. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential for daily store performance.

The position requires management experience, reading and reporting skills, and a Food Safety Certification. Expect night and weekend hours with full-time availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers or team members.
• Ability to calculate figures and percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense to written or oral instructions.
• Active Food Safety Certification.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting; ability to work in varied conditions.
• Vision requirements include color and distance perception.
• Work environment may include outdoor weather and moderate noise.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 20 team members on shift.
• Maintain store conditions per company standards and safety rules.
• Ensure delivery of great customer service.
• Open/closeCash Office including reconciliations and deposits.
• Perform CGO functions: receiving, inventory, damages, signs and tags.
• Complete sign audits and replace needed signs/tags.
• Maintain logs for alarms and temperatures.
• Communicate with Store Manager about store conditions and issues.
• Work nights and weekends; 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
