Key Responsibilities:

1. Inform customers about food specials and recommend grocery items to meet their needs.
2. Check product quality, review 'sell by' dates, and take necessary actions.
3. Provide customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
4. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
5. Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the manager.
6. Stay updated on current, upcoming, seasonal, and promotional ads.
7. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
8. Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, keeping logs as required.
9. Develop product knowledge and assist customers with questions and suggestions.
10. Create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and appreciated.
11. Follow safety procedures, identify hazards, and notify management of unsafe conditions.
12. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
13. Report any customer or employee accidents promptly.
14. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
15. Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
16. Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
