Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of store operations preferred.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or will be required to attend company provided training and have the ability to achieve accreditation within the first 90 days of employment; Accreditation must be maintained while employed in a position requiring accreditation

Aufgaben

• Manage the Grocery Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and provides ongoing performance management
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to achieve productivity expectation
• Provide leadership and motivation within the store to reflect Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Promote fast, easy, flexible and friendly customer service and a positive shopping experience
• Model outstanding, friendly customer service and use department product knowledge to meet customers' expectations
• Control store expenses through proper ordering, care for supplies and equipment
• Use company tools such as financial reports, ACIS, scheduling, productivity, CAO, and business information systems
• Maintain department appearance, quality, sanitation and safety in line with policies
• Ensure Grocery Department schedules provide extraordinary customer service
• Understand scheduling, sales, wage percent, interviewing, hiring, training and company information to manage the Grocery Department
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation and displaying of merchandise adheres to policies
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and report accidents
• Monitor shrink and prevent losses
• Assist with bi-annual physical inventory
• Ensure advertising and sales materials are properly utilized
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
• Adhere to all company policies and standards
• Maintain security standards
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses
• Provide recognition and constructive counseling as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
