Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Manage the Grocery Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates
• Supervise performance and conduct regular performance appraisals for direct reports
• Daily labor management and coaching to achieve productivity
• Provide leadership and promote Food Lion guiding principles, core values, vision and strategy
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience while maintaining department appearance and safety
• Control store expenses through proper ordering and inventory practices
• Observe and enforce safety regulations and company policies
