Job summary

Metso is seeking a Technical Sales Support, Grinding to join the Grinding Business Line in Mesa, AZ. You will drive the product strategy to grow sales and profitability while delivering technical sales support and customer-focused solutions.

You will collaborate with Account Managers and Product Specialists to develop value-added offerings, strengthen customer relationships, and contribute to business growth, with up to 50% travel across the south and east US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mineral processing equipment, preferably grinding-related products.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-focused and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Grinding product strategy to support sales growth and profitability within the assigned Market Area.
• Provide product support, technical expertise, and application analysis to existing and prospective customers.
• Develop and present value-based solutions, proposals, and win strategies for customer opportunities.
• Promote new products, innovations, and technology developments to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new customer opportunities in collaboration with sales teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business and future opportunities.
• Achieve regional sales targets while providing market intelligence on competition, pricing, and customer needs.
• Conduct product inspections, support installations, and provide technical reports, recommendations, and analyses.
