Job summary

Metso seeks an Installation and Commissioning Specialist, Grinding to join our Global Field Service team. You will provide day-to-day advisory support and ensure performance of grinding equipment installation and commissioning, including on-site audits, training, and detailed service reporting.

The role is primarily remote, with up to 90% travel to customer sites globally, reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Field Service, Grinding.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support and service for grinding equipment, mills, and related industrial equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills in assembly, installation, maintenance and repair with emphasis on safety.
• Able to advise customers, engineering firms, and contractors under various working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and build positive relationships.
• Visit remote customer sites globally for extended periods (high travel).
• Conduct pre-installation audits to assess site conditions, readiness, and logistics.
• Provide technical troubleshooting analysis and recommend solutions to field service challenges.
• Deliver field and classroom-based training on service, maintenance and commissioning.
