Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill in Chesterfield, Missouri is hiring a Grill Cook to maintain grill temperatures, manage open-kitchen operations, and work with a team to ensure proper cooking temps and clean stations. This role involves opening and closing duties as well as following sanitation protocols.

The ideal candidate has kitchen experience, strong communication, and flexibility to work various shifts in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 yr. previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience on a broiler is preferred, but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the temperature of the grill/broiler throughout the shift.
• Operate in an open-kitchen layout with visibility from the dining room.
• Coordinate designated positions with strong communication and teamwork.
• Manage ticket orders for proteins and ensure proper food temps per company specs.
• Maintain a clean station and workspace and adhere to sanitation protocols.
• Perform opening duties and closing cleaning duties.
