Job summary

Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill is an upscale steakhouse known for hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, signature salads, and house specialties. This Grill Cook role requires night and weekend availability and offers opportunities for growth within a high-end hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining grill temperatures, coordinating with the team in an open kitchen, and ensuring proper food temps while upholding sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 yr. previous kitchen/culinary/chef experience on a broiler preferred.
• Experience with kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the temperature of the grill/broiler throughout the shift.
• The kitchen features an open-kitchen layout with visibility from the dining room.
• Coordinate designated positions through strong communication and teamwork with other staff.
• Manage ticket orders for proteins and ensure proper temps per company specs.
• Maintain a clean station and workspace and follow sanitation protocols; perform opening and closing duties.
