• We are hiring immediately for full-time GRILL COOK positions.
• Location: Pikeville Medical Center - 911 South Bypass Road, Pikeville, KY 41501. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedules. Monday through Friday, including rotating weekends; hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No experience necessary.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short preparation times. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service. Maintains records from work areas during service periods.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Stores foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
• Addresses customer concerns and reports relevant issues to supervisors.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs duties safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
