Job Opening: Grill Cook at Canteen

We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position.

Location: CCP Main - 1700 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Must have cook or food service experience.

Pay Range: $17.70 - $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station following applicable standards and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes orders from customers, prepares items requiring short preparation, and serves at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food quality, temperature, and presentation.
3. Uses ticket-collection procedures and maintains records during service.
4. Follows recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
5. Transfers food between workstations safely.
6. Stores foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintains sanitation of work areas and equipment.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
9. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers and management.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
