We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position at Canteen.

Location: CCP Main - 1700 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130 (Online applications accepted only)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Must have cook or food service experience.

Pay Range: $17.70 - $18.00 per hour. *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station, ensuring high-quality food service compliant with standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation; serve at multiple stations.
2. Serve customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty.
3. Use established ticket procedures and maintain records during service.
4. Follow recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
5. Transport food safely between workstations and storage areas.
6. Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
8. Address customer concerns and report to supervisors.
9. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
10. Maintain good relationships with coworkers and management.
11. Perform duties safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
