• We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions.
• Address: 1 College Avenue, Wise, VA 24293. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food per standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food per recipes to meet schedules.
• Serves meals, ensuring correct portions, temperatures, and presentation.
• Uses ticket procedures during service. Maintains records.
• Cleans kitchen, stores/discards excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates kitchen equipment properly.
• Assists in planning, record-keeping, and ordering.
• Reports maintenance issues immediately.
• Attends safety meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Performs duties safely and maintains a clean environment.
• Follows HACCP standards for presentation and temperatures.
• Uses proper safety equipment and techniques, including gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
