• We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position.
• Location: Bridgestone - 301 North Firestone Parkway, Wilson, NC 27893. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Friday through Sunday, 9:00 pm to 9:00 am. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: One year of prior cooking experience required.
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station according to federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Take orders and prepare items requiring short preparation, complete orders from steam tables, and serve customers at multiple stations.
2. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Taste all prepared food items.
3. Use established ticket-collection procedures and maintain records during service.
4. Follow approved recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
5. Transport food safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Store foods properly following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
8. Address customer concerns and report relevant issues to supervisors.
9. Attend in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintain good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Perform duties safely and maintain a clean work environment.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
