Location: Louisburg College

• We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.
• Address: Louisburg College - 501 North Main Street, Louisburg, NC 27549. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary. Weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Two years of prior cooking experience required. Willing to train! Start date: 8/20
• Pay Rate: $14.24 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food from standardized recipes.
• Serve meals, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Use established ticket procedures; maintain records during service.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, ordering, and record keeping.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain good working relationships.
• Follow safety standards, including HACCP, and company policies for safety and hygiene.
