We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.

Location: Comcast Center - 1701 JFK Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time. Days may vary, 6:30 am - 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: 3 years of cooking experience and ServSafe certification are a plus.

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, appearance, and taste.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service; maintains records.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains cleanliness standards.
• Stores or discards excess food according to safety procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
• Performs job safely and maintains a safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies, including the use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
