Job Opening: Grill Cook at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for full-time Grill Cook positions.

Location: Manning Family Child - 200 Henry Clay Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, some weekends required. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous culinary experience required.

Pay Range: $13.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station, adhering to federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take orders, prepare items requiring short preparation, complete orders from steam tables, and serve customers at multiple stations.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food quality, temperature, and presentation. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket procedures and maintain records during service.
• Follow approved recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Transport food safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store foods properly, following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Address customer concerns and report issues to supervisors.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Perform duties safely and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
