+ Location: Ochsner Kenner - 180 West Esplanade Avenue, Kenner, LA 70065. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, including rotating weekends. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Previous culinary experience preferred. Willing to train!

+ Pay Range: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Use established ticket procedures and maintain records.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, adhering to food safety standards.
5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
6. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
7. Report maintenance issues promptly.
8. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
9. Maintain good relationships with team members and customers.
10. Follow HACCP standards and safety protocols, including proper use of protective equipment.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
