  • We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.
  • Location: Coushatta - 1635 Marvel Street, Coushatta, LA 71019. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week. Days and hours may vary, including some weekends. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous culinary or food service experience preferred.
  • Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality food following standardized recipes and instructions.
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  • Use established ticket procedures and maintain records.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safety procedures.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in production planning, ordering, and reporting.
  • Report maintenance issues and participate in safety meetings.
  • Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers.
  • Follow safety standards, including HACCP, and company policies on safety equipment and procedures.
