Qualifications

• Partial High School education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Culinary knowledge required; Food Safety certification and strong sanitation habits expected.
• Strong customer service abilities; ability to communicate issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Set up, restock, and break down the grill.
• Daily production of meal items and daily menu specials.
• Prepare daily specials, hot sandwich production, and sides for service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for meats, vegetables, and grilled foods.
• Operate kitchen equipment to measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, and trim food.
• Report all malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
• Taste food, read menus, estimate requirements, and keep production records.
• Control food production to manage waste and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean equipment and utensils used in grill prep and production area.
• Maintain temperature logs and signage for the grill station.
• Observe safety issues and report them to management.
