The Food and Beverage Grill Cook plays a key role in preparing and cooking food in a fast-paced environment in both inside and possible outside serving areas. To be successful in this role you must possess exceptional grilling abilities in a very busy operation.
The Grill Cook has the responsibility to interact pleasantly and professionally with guests while busily preparing and serving food orders, never compromising quality over quantity.

Under the supervision of the Food & Beverage Manager and Supervisor, the Grill Cook shall be required to:
Weather conditions and the number of guests play a significant role in the work scheduling of employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods, you may be expected to work 6 days a week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time.
At any time during the season, Dodge Ridge employees must often perform their tasks in variable weather conditions; high winds, rain, snow, and extremely warm temperatures.
Work is typically inside (sometimes outside) working directly with resort guests and other resort staff members. During busy periods of operations it can be noisy, cold, hot, dry, or humid. You may be expected to work in warm places and often you will work around hot and cold objects. At times you may be asked to work the grill, as a line server, or a server for an extended time period.
A professional appearance at Dodge Ridge is required. Please always wear your nametag and uniform during your scheduled shift. We will supply most of the uniform for you to do your job. However, you will have to supply some items as part of your job, as listed below. The quality, color, and style of the items must be approved by your manager prior to being worn to work. All hats worn must have the Dodge Ridge logo while on shift.
The riding employee represents a model for safe riding for both the guest and fellow employees. You are required to be aware of all safe riding procedures, trail closures, and out-of-bounds policies.
