Job summary

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is seeking a Grill Cook to join our Food & Beverage team in Pinecrest, CA. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a fast-paced setting, both indoors and in occasional outdoor service areas.

Qualifications

• Prior line cooking experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods & allergens.
• Availability to work days, evenings and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meat and vegetables with a high degree of skill.
• Cooperate with other cooks and line workers to efficiently serve guests. Communication is key to ensuring the timely delivery of all meals.
• Follow all food safety and risk management guidelines.
• Maintain a workstation that is both clean and sanitary.
• Obtain and maintain a valid "California Food Handlers Card", we recommend ServSafe.
• Long hair must be tied up at all times, in a hat, hair net or pulled back.
• Ensure stocking is current for the opening shift. Rotate, label and control food usage. (FIFO)
• Maintain waste and temp logs.
• Clean and empty garbage, clean up the work area, and take dirty dishes to the dish room.
• Assist in maintaining inventory by tracking, labeling, and replacing key ingredients.
• Other duties as assigned
