Job summary

B2U Storage Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between customers, sales, and engineering for battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will design viable technical solutions, size systems, respond to RFPs, and help drive sales growth.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years in technical sales or solution engineering in BESS or renewable energy, with willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, preferably electrical or mechanical.
• Five years of technical sales, applications engineering, or solution engineering experience, particularly in BESS, solar, or renewable energy.
• Experience with grid-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, supporting business development and account management.
• Translate customer requirements and RFPs into clear technical specifications and perform system sizing and configuration optimization.
• Write detailed technical proposals, create project quotes, and develop cost estimates in response to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and system demonstrations to engineers and C-level executives.
• Coordinate with customer, sales, engineering and project management teams for seamless handoff and delivery.
• Lead technical aspects of contract negotiations, including scope of work and performance metrics.
