Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive cross-functional program management across aerospace initiatives. You will stand up new project structures, set schedules, define milestones, and coordinate with engineering, facilities, supply chain, and quality to maintain critical paths and budgets.

The role requires strong communication, risk management, and the ability to operate with minimal direction in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management on aerospace or complex technical programs.
• Ability to stand up a new program or capability from concept with independence.
• Strong schedule building from first principles using scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with mission-critical systems and configuration management.
• Knowledge of AI-based systems and data-driven metrics.

Responsibilities

• Build baseline project plan with schedule structure, milestones, and success criteria.
• Partner with Engineering to shape early concepts into executable scope.
• Develop initial estimates, cost basis, and staffing plans for funding.
• Define phase/gate criteria and lock baselines once stable.
• Plan facilities, utilities, and activation schedules with program milestones.
• Stand up tools and reporting structure for project tracking.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and risk/issue management across sites.
• Produce recurring status reports for leadership and governance.
