Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the execution and management of complex aerospace programs within the PMO. You will coordinate across engineering, finance, and operations to baselined scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring delivery to customer statements of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• 8+ years of program management or planning experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience working on Aerospace Development Programs and/or Space Systems.
• Strong understanding of DFARs based contracts.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for execution and management of program deliverables, performance to plan, and completion of customer statement of work.
• Manage contractual data requirements lists and deliveries; support mission unique scope definition and programmatic baselining/budget management; responsible for customer relationship building and management (from pre-solicitation through launch/delivery/ops).
• Lead staff across project to prioritize weekly and monthly tasking and ensure cognizance of all activities.
• Oversee financial performance of accounts held by program and subsystem leads.
• Implement business rhythm: meetings, reviews, reporting, and planning cycles; track action items.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and IT to reconcile standards and issues across the project.
• Represent BU/PL interests on proposals regarding scope, price vs cost, and resource allocation.
