Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience on aerospace or other complex technical programs.
• Engineering or technical background or equivalent hands-on experience with complex engineered systems.
• Experience standing up a new program or capability from concept to execution, independent of an inherited plan.
• Ability to build schedules and estimates from first principles using scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Build the Baseline and establish the initial project plan with milestones and success criteria.
• Partner with Engineering to translate concepts into executable scope.
• Develop initial estimates, cost basis, and staffing plans to support funding decisions.
• Define phase and gate review criteria and lock baselines when stable.
• Coordinate across facilities, teams, and multiple sites to align scope and milestones.
• Lead risk identification, mitigation, and reporting; drive recovery plans to closure.
• Produce recurring status reporting for program leadership and stakeholders.
