Job summary

Workstreet is seeking a Manager, GRC Engineering to lead executive client relationships and end-to-end compliance engagements across SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. You will guide complex lifecycle programs, manage escalations, and ensure client satisfaction during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.

You'll mentor a pod of 3–5 analysts, architect GRC frameworks, and drive multi-cloud certification projects on AWS, GCP, and Azure. Proficiency with Drata, Vanta, and Secureframe is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven client relationship manager with experience owning accounts.
• 5+ years of direct experience leading technical teams and coaching individuals.
• Technical compliance expert with hands-on history building enterprise programs.
• Cloud control architect with knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Multi-project delivery of concurrent compliance engagements.
• Autonomous operator with degree in IT or cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Own executive client account management - primary contact across client portfolios and trusted relationships.
• Lead end-to-end compliance engagements - guide clients through kickoff to certification with proactive communication.
• Manage complex account escalations - resolve high-stakes issues with urgency and composure.
• Deliver strategic compliance guidance - translate regulatory criteria into technical controls for business needs.
• Direct and develop engineering pods - manage a pod of 3–5 analysts, ensuring delivery standards.
• Architect technical GRC frameworks - align policies and controls across SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
• Execute multi-cloud certification projects - lead SOC 2 & ISO 27001 motions across AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Leverage modern compliance automation - use Drata, Vanta, Secureframe to track readiness metrics.
