Job summary

ITW is seeking a Coater Operator in Cranbury, NJ, to safely set up and operate a gravure coater producing quality product per specifications. You will test quality, handle materials, and enter data for production records.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industrial machine experience, gravure coating familiarity, and the ability to work overtime. Must pass drug screen and background checks. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience with industrial machine setup and operation.
• Experience with gravure coating and inks, viscosity, and weighing chemicals.
• Ability to work overtime/flexible shift.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a multi-station gravure coater; adjust temperature, speed, heat, and tension.
• Perform start up tests, run samples, check coat weights and solids.
• Maintain cleaning and preventive maintenance of the machine and rollers; replenish supplies.
• Inspect coating defects and document results.
• Enter data into computer system and maintain production/quality records.
