Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to set up, operate, and tend roll-to-roll coating machines and digital inking machines, ensuring speed, tension, and gaps meet specifications.

You will read work orders, load materials, inspect coated products, document data, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting the production schedule. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to recognize and resolve coating process issues in real time.
• Previous machinery operator experience in continuous production.
• Read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect pre- and post-production deck boards to quality standards.
• Operate roll-to-roll coating machines and adjust speed, tension, and gaps.
• Read QA instructions and production work orders to ensure compliance.
• Load/unload materials and manage packing guidelines for finished goods.
• Record process data and material usage in company systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in TPM activities.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.
• Assist other operators to meet production targets as needed.
