Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams and work with radiologists and physicians to ensure high-quality imaging results. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS, with 1–2 years of MRI experience preferred.

The position operates on a 7 on/7 off graveyard schedule (21:00–07:00) with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance if applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/ modality competency in MRI.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform MRI exams per protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Assist students and other MRI Technologists with protocols and positioning.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Follow infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient data and procedures.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, QC, and equipment issues.
