Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You’ll perform diagnostic MRI exams, work with radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while following safety protocols.

A sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may be available. The ideal candidate holds ARRT MR or ARMRIT (or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI), with BLS, and IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI
• BLS for healthcare providers
• IV Competency within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency
• Verify patient identity and prepare for exam
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within acceptable time limits without compromising care
• Instruct students and MRI staff in protocols and equipment
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures
