Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams at St. George Regional Hospital. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and MRI safety proficiency.

You will work with radiologists and physicians in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The position follows a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift (21:00–07:00) with a potential sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or equivalent in MRI
• ARMRIT certification acceptable
• ARRT(R) cross-training in MRI acceptable

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Performs MRI exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time frames without compromising care.
• Assists and mentors students and other MRI staff.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and related information systems for quality images.
• Keeps accurate patient records and reports adverse reactions.
